Responsibilities

  • As Staff Accountant, you will contribute to key financial processes that support the organization's continued growth and operational excellence. Success in this role will include the ability to:
  • Manage key aspects of the receivables process, including preparing and issuing invoices accurately to the appropriate parties, monitoring incoming payments, supporting collection efforts, and completing allowance calculations.
  • Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to established deadlines.
  • Maintain accounting operations and provide support for miscellaneous projects and departmental initiatives as needed.
  • Serve as a backup resource for critical accounting processes to ensure continuity and operational support.

  • The Staff Accountant will be key in daily and monthly financial processes supporting the accounting function and serve as a resource and partner to the Finance team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, along with two or more years of relevant experience
  • alternatively, three to five years of directly related professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles, U.S. GAAP, and Microsoft Excel is required.
