Responsibilities

  • Provide hands‑on, field‑based electrical engineering support for refinery operations, delivering timely troubleshooting and practical solutions that maintain safe and reliable production
  • Develop concise, constructible electrical engineering packages to address immediate operational needs and small capital improvements, including circuit modifications, equipment sizing, and design updates
  • Support the specification, purchasing, and installation of electrical equipment for small‑scale power distribution systems, coordinating with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Partner closely with operations, maintenance crafts, contractors, and senior engineers to ensure electrical designs are executable, maintainable, and aligned with refinery safety and reliability expectations
  • The Electrical Engineer supports the Toledo Refinery safety, reliability, and operations through hands‑on troubleshooting, application of established electrical engineering practices, and delivery of practical technical solutions.
  • This role partners closely with maintenance, operations, and senior engineers to support continuous improvement and maintain accurate engineering documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 8+ years experience working Electrical Engineering in refining or relevant industry
