  • Financial Statement Analysis - Analyze financial statements of private companies to assess their accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting principles.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Audit Engagements - Manage and supervise all aspects of audit engagements for private company clients, from planning through completion, including clients operating in evolving, fast-paced industries.
  • Collaborate with engagement teams to ensure efficient and effective execution
  • Develop comprehensive audit plans that address key risk areas and comply with auditing guidelines.
  • Team Management and Development - Lead and mentor audit teams, providing guidance, feedback, and support throughout the audit process.
  • Client Communication - Build strong relationships with key stakeholders of private company clients.
  • Budget Monitoring - Develop and manage budgets for private company audit engagements.
  • Monitor actual versus budgeted expenses and resource utilization, proactively addressing any budget variances and making adjustments to maintain profitability.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with and exposure to Canadian Tax
  • The ability to provide value-added service to our clients
  • Strong understanding of a client-focused environment, including related deadlines and the ability to work to meet those deadlines

Compensation

  • $89,250.00 - $126,000.00 per annum
