About the role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and fabrication, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
This role will involve enhancing our fabrication and machining capabilities, solving intricate problems, and contributing to the successful electrification of medium duty trucks.

Fabrication & Machining: Perform high-precision fabrication and machining of components, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
Vehicle Prototypes: Assist in the development and fabrication of vehicle prototypes, working closely with the engineering team to bring innovative designs to life.
Manufacturing Tooling: Design, fabricate, and maintain custom tooling and fixtures to support the production process and improve efficiency.
Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain a variety of machines, including CNC machines, lathes, mills, and welding equipment.
Process Optimization: Implement and optimize fabrication processes to increase production efficiency and reduce waste.
Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to safety protocols, perform regular maintenance on machines, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Perform high-precision fabrication and machining of components, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
Design, fabricate, and maintain custom tooling and fixtures to support the production process and improve efficiency.
Operate and maintain a variety of machines, including CNC machines, lathes, mills, and welding equipment.

Proven experience as a Fabricator or Machinist, preferably in the automotive industry.
Proficiency in operating CNC machines, lathes, mills, and welding equipment.
Experience with CAD/CAM software and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
