About the role
- Summary The Staff Tax Accountant assists in ensuring accurate and timely completion of tax compliance and reporting.
- They assist in creating a positive team environment and ensure completion of day-to-day operations in the Corporate Accounting Department.
- This position requires a detail-oriented, responsible, and dependable individual who has the highest level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
Requirements

- Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone.
- May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs.
- May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation.
- Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
Nice to have
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Preferred Requirements
- CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA Certification.
- Previous experience in tax compliance and tax accounting, preferably in a public accounting or a corporate tax department.
- Working knowledge in SQL
Compensation
- $55k-$70k
