About the role
- Background & Purpose of the Job Unilever is a global Fast-Moving Consumer Goods company with powerful brands like Dove, Axe, Dove Men's + Care, Vaseline.
- The Skin Cleansing Category is seeking a dynamic and flexible team player.
- Key packaging workstream activities include leading packaging development deliverables, partnering with cross functional teams, leading packaging factory and supplier trials, and laboratory testing.
Responsibilities
- The individual will be responsible for the design and delivery of primary and secondary packaging for innovation, renovation, sustainability and cost savings initiatives.
- You will manage multiple development projects and prioritize tasks based on timelines.
- You will deliver effectively in a cross-functional team environment by working with Brand, Planning, Formulation, Procurement, Quality, and many external suppliers.
- The ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical backgrounds is essential.
- Coupled with project management experience and a technical skillset, you will have the autonomy to deliver packaging innovation by partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to delight the consumer with sustainable and creative packaging solutions.

Requirements
- B.S. Degree (Packaging Science, or engineering equivalent) and at least 5 years' experience in the packaging field, as a Package Development Engineer, preferably in the personal care products industry.
- +7 years of applicable experience
- Must demonstrate a strong understanding of package development process and engineering principles
- Must be able to demonstrate a general understanding of project management to realize the order, importance, and impact of appropriate project activities and maintain packaging commitments to project scheduling.
Compensation
- The pay range for this position is $88,600 to $133,000.
- Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
