About the role

Responsibilities
- Partners with key stakeholders in the business to identify, assess, aggregate and document risks and controls, including risks associated with new or modified products, services, distribution channels, regulations and third-party operations.
- Applies working knowledge to assess data and produce analytical insights to understand business objectives, drive risk-based business decisions and influence solution strategies.
- Supports the formulation of scenario analysis and/or stress test plans, including the evaluation of results, and framing of contingency plans in partnership with key business stakeholders.

Requirements
- The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience in data analysis and risk mitigation, along with at least 3 years operating in Agile environments.
- Experience in People Risk-including workforce, conduct, or HR-related risk areas-is highly valued, along with a background in Human Resources, Human Capital Management, or a related discipline.
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, or related field
- Or advanced degree/designation in Risk Management, Business, Finance, or other discipline relevant to risk management and 2 years work of experience in a discipline relevant to risk management.
Compensation
- You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position.
- The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
- Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
- The salary range for this position is: $85,040 - $162,550.
- Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive.
