About the role

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid).
Rate Range: $75/hour to $80/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Ensure operational excellence through performance tuning, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards.

The candidate will be responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining scalable data platforms and pipelines that deliver high?quality, analytics?ready data across the enterprise.

Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) experience or knowledge required for this role.
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
Strong expertise in designing and maintaining cloud native data solutions on Google Cloud Platform, including data lakes, data warehouses, and scalable data pipelines using Python and SQL.
Proven experience ensuring data governance, security, and performance while implementing modern architectures and advanced capabilities such as AI/ML enabled pipelines and analytics ready data assets.

$75/hour to $80/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
