About the role

  • Akkodis is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid).
  • Rate Range: $75/hour to $80/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
  • Ensure operational excellence through performance tuning, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) experience or knowledge required for this role.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong expertise in designing and maintaining cloud native data solutions on Google Cloud Platform, including data lakes, data warehouses, and scalable data pipelines using Python and SQL.
  • Proven experience ensuring data governance, security, and performance while implementing modern architectures and advanced capabilities such as AI/ML enabled pipelines and analytics ready data assets.
