Responsibilities
- Performs basic duties to, install, repair, and maintain all electronic and electrical equipment, motors, and controls for new and existing machinery.
- Performs a large variety of tests on all electrical systems. Balances loads and power factor.
- Completes work orders and maintains the CMMS.

Requirements
- 4+ years of basic electrical experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Basic level of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) knowledge, including ability to read PLC programs
- Working knowledge of relays, controls, sensors and switches
- Basic knowledge of both electrical and mechanical aspects of industrial equipment
- Knowledge to operate volt-ohm meters, oscilloscopes, continuity testers, wire tracing equipment and other equipment utilized during the typical incidences of the electrician's duties
- Up to date knowledge of current electrical codes
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
- use hoists and other necessary equipment for lifting as required
- Ability to be self-motivated and work in both team and individual settings
- Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Rhode Island Journeyperson Electrician License
- OSHA 10 certified
- Familiar with HVAC systems
- Ability to perform physical demanding tasks, such as climbing ladders and high range scissor lift
