About the role

  • This role functions as a bridge between Revenue Cycle operations, IT, and Finance, driving enterprise-wide initiatives that improve financial outcomes, operational efficiency, and system utilization within the Epic platform.
  • Identify and execute initiatives with measurable financial impact (e.g., revenue lift, cost reduction, cash acceleration)
  • Coordinate with Epic IT analysts, operational leaders, and clinical departments to ensure successful project execution

Responsibilities

  • Drive initiatives that impact multiple service lines, departments, and revenue streams across the organization
  • Lead revenue cycle projects involving Epic applications, including system optimization, workflow redesign, and new functionality implementation
  • Manage full project lifecycle: scope, timeline development, build coordination, testing, go-live support, and post-implementation optimization
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and executive-level reporting to support visibility and decision-making

Requirements

  • The position operates with a high degree of autonomy, influencing system design, workflow optimization, and prioritization of organizational initiatives.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Epic revenue cycle applications
  • Epic certification or proficiency in one or more revenue cycle modules OR demonstrated advanced proficiency in Epic revenue cycle applications.
  • Familiarity with Epic reporting tools (SQL, Clarity, Caboodle, Reporting Workbench
  • Ability to interpret Epic data structures and reporting outputs
