About the role
- This position will work directly with cross-functional and production engineering teams to meet production program objectives.
- Boeing's seekers provide active data to the PAC-3 missile which enables it to acquire, intercept and destroy threats using hit-to-kill technology.

Responsibilities
- Applies basic knowledge of Boeing design and/or engineering principles to develop interim or final engineering solutions to product/process issues throughout the production lifecycle
- Analyzes, conducts root cause analysis and develops dispositions for design non-conformances
- Applies engineering principles to research technical, operational and quality issues to develop interim and final engineering solutions
- Provides written dispositions for routine design non-conformances
- Represents the engineering community in the production environment, providing lineside support
- Ensures supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards
- Develops and implements product/process improvements
Requirements
- Knowledge of repair concepts and methodologies including standard repair processes, component repair concepts, structural and composite repair procedures, electrical repair procedures, and basic system repair processes
- 2+ years of experience with Material Review Board / Liaison Engineering (MRB / LE) Authority (including participating in Material Review Board and Integrated Product Team activities related to repairs)
- Willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime if required
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
- To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
- Participates in Material Review Boards (As Required)
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed, based on business needs
- (Required Skills & Experience):
Nice to have
- 5+ year Material Review Board Certification experience
- 5+ years of experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
- 5+ years Production engineering experience with relevant technological knowledge
- Experience in solving simple to complex problems
- 5+ years Electrical/mechanical system knowledge, troubleshooting, fault isolation, and repair methodology
- Knowledge of circuit card manufacturing, including Selective Solder and SMT
- 5 + years Functional system level testing
- Typical Experience:
Compensation
- Level 3: $103,700 - $140,300
- Level 4: $126,650 - $171,350
