About the role

  • Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee, evaluate, and ensure ELD performance working with ELD Coordinator to resolve issues.
  • Communicate, review, and ensure DOT compliance.

  • This role requires a dependable and trusted leader who can effectively support and oversee a team of 80+ drivers in a 24/7 operating environment.

Nice to have

  • The ideal candidate will bring a strong transportation background, including experience with DOT regulations and compliance.
  • Food service distribution experience is preferred.
  • This leader must be comfortable managing driver relationships, holding clear and direct conversations, and maintaining strong operational standards.
  • The Transportation Supervisor provides day to day oversight within the Transportation department by reviewing performance, ensuring compliance, and resolving driver issues.

Skills

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy with commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Should possess good computer skills including MS Office Suite, scheduling software, and routing software.

  • Possess knowledge of driver safety and DOT compliance requirements.
  • Ability to motivate and develop employees.
  • Food industry experience preferred.

  • Associate's degree with a minimum of two (2) years' experience in transportation or related role with a minimum of one (1) year in a supervisory capacity; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
