Responsibilities

- You have strong technical skills and ability to prioritize and manage expectations
- Mentor and develop junior team members by providing support and guidance
- Evaluate, develop, implement and document improvements to accounting procedures and systems to maximize efficiency and quality in the accounting group
- Support financial systems improvement initiatives including ERP systems conversions
- Assist and provide support on property tax administration and municipal property tax filing.
Requirements
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and assist with electronic banking administration as required
- Liaise and communicate with other departments to obtain required information on propertie
- Ad-hoc analysis and projects as required
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably for a complex multi-entity organization, including exposure to consolidated financial statements
- Strong understanding of ASPE, experience with REALpac (an asset)
- Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, Word and Excel
Compensation
- $75,000 - $85,000 per year estimated, based on experience and qualifications
- Our growing residential portfolio includes 44,000 homes that are complete, in design or under construction, from mixed-use residential to townhome, rental and single-family homes.
