About the role
- Meet regularly with all team members to identify issues and put action plans in place
- Provide workload forecasting as new projects are secured and provide progress analysis regarding prospective unsecured projects (integrating efforts of the Marketing Team)
- Update Introba accounting system information for effective use by the Marketing Team
Responsibilities
- Provide the Management Team with staff performance criteria and information on all design staff
- Instill the concept of quality being the responsibility of every design team member. Promote quality issues with all members and in particular ensures that the quality control function is effectively performed
- Assure adequate field review services are provided to ensure adherence of contract documents
- Effect and implement programs to improve the quality of our service, products and systems to meet client's requirements and expectations and to minimize costs and maximize the company's competitive position

- The Associate forms a viable part of the Introba management team and is responsible for managing their respective Project Design Team.
- They are fully responsible and accountable for their design team staff, regularly review staffing and distribute tasks effectively and consistently with staff skill sets.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in mechanical site inspections, field review reports, and attendance at site meetings.
- Minimum 5 years project management experience in consulting engineering
- Represent Introba at meetings with project clients and other project stakeholders as required
- Effect studies to determine cause, effect and corrective actions required to remedy deviations impairing desired standards
- 6+ years of specific HVAC, plumbing and fire protection design experience
- Familiarity with the BC Building Code and BC Building By-law is essential
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Professional Engineer (CEng, PEng or equivalent), Applied Science Technologist (AScT) designation, or eligibility to apply
- LEED Accreditation an asset
Nice to have
- Company representative at related association meetings, plus dealing with city, provincial and federal officials

Compensation
- As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $110,400- $138,000 annually for this position and local market.
