About the role
- As a Sales Associate at Berlin City Lexus, you will guide customers through a personalized, consultative, and enjoyable vehicle-buying experience.
- Unlike many traditional automotive sales roles, this position gives you the training and ability to participate in more of the transaction.
Responsibilities
- Create an exceptional and personalized experience for every customer
- Build trust by listening carefully and recommending vehicles that fit each customer's needs and lifestyle
- Identify and purchase vehicles that support the dealership's pre-owned inventory needs
- Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, and relationship-building
- Complete Lexus and dealership training to maintain expert-level product knowledge
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure a seamless customer experience
Requirements
- Ability to learn detailed product information and explain it with confidence
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Automotive or luxury retail experience is helpful but not required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check
- Develop a strong understanding of automotive financing and protection products
Nice to have
- At least two years of sales or customer service experience preferred
Skills
- This is more than a traditional automotive sales position.
Compensation
- This position offers a performance-based commission-based pay plan with income potential of up to $180,000 annually.
- Actual earnings vary based on individual performance, sales volume, and other eligible compensation opportunities.
- An annual end-of-year bonus based on the total number of vehicles sold during the year
