About the role

This role ensures data flows efficiently across platforms while embedding technical controls for quality, performance, and observability.

Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data
Design and optimize curated (bronze/silver/gold) data layers
Implement monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks
Support MDM integrations and data synchronization processes
Collaborate with Governance & Quality Engineer to implement steward-defined rules
Born in Texas in 2003, we own and operate over 30 utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects in local communities across the United States, totaling 4 gigawatts (GW) of generating capacity.

5+ years in data engineering
Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices for data

Experience implementing data quality frameworks, validation rules, and pipeline testing
Familiarity with metadata management and data catalog platforms (Collibra, Alation, Purview)
Experience supporting analytics and BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
Experience working in agile data teams with strong collaboration between engineering, governance, and analytics
