About the role
- The Litigation Paralegal supports attorneys across all stages of personal injury litigation, from initial filings through trial preparation and resolution.
- This role supports our personal injury team through all phases of the litigation process, including managing medical records and bills, coordinating with healthcare providers and insurance carriers, and assisting with settlement demands and trial preparation.
Responsibilities
- Assist in all phases of the litigation process including drafting and helping to prepare legal documents such as standard motions, notices, discovery, pleadings for filing, and assist in trial support.
- Maintain case files, ensuring all relevant documents, correspondence, and evidence are properly recorded and filed.
- Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and witnesses to gather necessary information and documents - this includes depositions, hearings, and court appearances, ensuring all necessary parties are notified and prepared.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of local court rules, procedures, and filing requirements.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage a high-volume of cases simultaneously.
- Exceptional time management skills to effectively prioritize and manage litigation tasks.
- Maintains confidentiality and exercises discretion in handling sensitive information.

Requirements
- Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish (Preferred, but not required) Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a litigation paralegal, preferably in personal injury law.
