About the role
- The Dean of Student Affairs serves as the Student Affairs administrator for the Campus.
- Initial salary placement for new hires falls between the minimum and midpoint of the range and is based on relevant candidate experience and internal equity.
- The maximum salary for this position is $205,483 annually.
Responsibilities
- Plans, administers, and assesses strategic goals, objectives, and initiatives, as well as develops procedures for student affairs services.
- Develops and implements a system for assessment of programs and operations to include processes for feedback and improvement
- Participates in task forces, committees, and councils. Works collaboratively with faculty, academic support, and student groups/organizations on current/proposed programs and services to facilitate and enhance services to students.
- Effectively manage fiscal resources, including assigned budgets.
- In collaboration with the Office of the Senior Vice President for Student Affairs, identifies, develops, and recommends professional development needs/opportunities, and coordinates/conducts training.
- Develops and implements a system for assessment of programs and operations to include processes for feedback and improvement; makes recommendations for improvements based on assessment on a regular basis.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements

- As a condition of employment, the following are required at the time of hire:
- Successful completion of a background check and degree verification (if applicable).
- Master's or doctoral degree in higher education administration, community college leadership, student affairs/college student personnel or an academic field relevant to the assigned area.
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible leadership experience in higher education.
- The equivalent combination of education, training, certification and/or experience that provides the required knowledge and expertise to perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
- Eligible applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States and not require employer visa sponsorship
- Hiring Range: $117,402-$161,443 annually. Initial salary placement for new hires falls between the minimum and midpoint of the range and is based on relevant candidate experience and internal equity. The maximum salary for this position is $205,483 annually.
