Responsibilities
- Partner with senior Product, Design and Data Science leaders to set platform strategy, including how insights are ranked, personalized and measured.
- Lead the team to build reliable, performant and scalable systems for insight creation, personalization, cross-channel delivery and measurement.
- Influence and collaborate with stakeholders to adopt team goals and roadmaps.
- Identify areas of improvement and drive best practices
- Hands-on development, including design and code reviews
- Mentor, guide, and support the career growth of individual contributors
- This includes leading a major re-architecture or transition, such as batch to real-time or rules-based to model-driven, while continuing to deliver.
- Experience managing and growing senior and staff engineers, and creating an environment where they own initiatives end to end.
- Strong communication and influence with technical and non-technical partners.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience in the tech industry; 5+ years of experience in an Engineering Manager role, with ownership responsibility over large-scale software systems.
- Experience with distributed systems, data pipelines, and real-time or streaming architectures.
Compensation
- $212,000 - $265,000 USD
