Requirements
- Possession of a valid Class C California Driver's License is required at the time of application and must be maintained throughout the entire term of employment in this classification.
- Possession of a valid California Driver's License is required at time of appointment and during the entire term of employment in the job class.
- Candidates considered for hire will be required to provide proof of a valid driver's license and current copy of their driving record.
- Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications on or before the posted filing deadline in order to qualify for the examination and does not assure a place on the eligibility list.
- The work experience section MUST be completed with detailed duties, dates and weekly hours worked for each title held.
- Resumes will not be accepted in lieu of a completed employment application and will not be used to evaluate minimum requirements.
- An associate's degree or certification of completion from a recognized vocational, technical, or college program in automotive or heavy equipment technology may be substituted for one (1) year of experience.
