About the role

Work hours for this position are from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.
40%: Cleans the following areas: restrooms, offices, classrooms, stairwells, elevators, hallways, and other assigned areas.
This could include but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, dusting, and polishing

Maintains positive co-worker relationships and foster an environment of trust and inclusion.
5%: Unlocks/locks areas within the building based on assigned room.

Test score not required.
Six months of experience in custodial, housekeeping, grounds keeping, or food service work.
Must be capable of walking around a 250,000 square foot building multiple times daily to access conference rooms, lobbies, & entrances in order to inspect and/or train on cleaning procedures
Due to the position's physical requirements, a pre-employment physical examination will be required per FASOP: HR-04.
In accordance with University Policy Statement 18, this position is considered essential and may be required to report or stay on campus in the event of emergency or closure.
Produces all documentation related to fund expenditures required by the business office.
