About the role

  • The Supplier Development Manager is in charge of implementing Recovery, Development, and Assessment assignments at supplier sites as part of the Procurement Operations department.

Responsibilities

  • 70% Enhance supplier relationships by supporting them in building and delivering continuous improvement plans and/or roadmaps.
  • Other duties as assigned: 10% Special projects (may be cross-functional or cross-divisional) Lead internal trainings and mentor colleagues
  • Supplier Development Management: 70% Enhance supplier relationships by supporting them in building and delivering continuous improvement plans and/or roadmaps.
  • Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications.
  • Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts.
  • Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs.
  • Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs.

Requirements

  • The job content requires the ability to travel via car and airplane.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, carry luggage, and view computer monitor for long periods of time.
  • Personal Protective Equipment required: Required PPE includes, but is not limited to Administrative position only PPE required Additional Physical Requirements

Nice to have

  • A minimum of five (5) years in professional experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations and/or Program Management Must have demonstrable experience utilizing quality management tools/techniques

Skills

  • Education: A Bachelors' Degree in Engineering or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • This position requires high flexibility for extensive travel (70-80%) throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico.
  • The individual will use a variety of Airbus and industry standardized tools and techniques.
  • Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools.

Compensation

  • $70k-$80k
