About the role

  • Interpret various order inputs and computer instructions to accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders.

Responsibilities

  • The primary focus is to perform all functions necessary for the safe, secure and accurate receipt, storage, and retrieval of inventory and non-inventory materials.

Requirements

  • This role supports both operational floor activities and advanced warehouse system/administrative processes requiring higher system proficiency
  • Operate stand-alone shipping manifest stations (i.e. FedEx) to create and ship orders outside of WMS system, produce shipping labels, update order accordingly in WMS and close shipments as required
  • Perform special tasks and assignments as required by management and supervisory personnel
  • Ability to work overtime, off shifts, and weekends as needed is required
  • Good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment is required
  • Familiar with warehouse scanning equipment or general knowledge of computer equipment competency for information input
  • Ability to work in team environment to participate in departmental metrics and instruction.
  • Ability to take instructions and follow directions to assist in order processing activities
