About the role
- Interpret various order inputs and computer instructions to accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders.
Responsibilities
- The primary focus is to perform all functions necessary for the safe, secure and accurate receipt, storage, and retrieval of inventory and non-inventory materials.
Requirements
- This role supports both operational floor activities and advanced warehouse system/administrative processes requiring higher system proficiency
- Operate stand-alone shipping manifest stations (i.e. FedEx) to create and ship orders outside of WMS system, produce shipping labels, update order accordingly in WMS and close shipments as required
- Perform special tasks and assignments as required by management and supervisory personnel
- Ability to work overtime, off shifts, and weekends as needed is required
- Good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment is required
- Familiar with warehouse scanning equipment or general knowledge of computer equipment competency for information input
- Ability to work in team environment to participate in departmental metrics and instruction.
- Ability to take instructions and follow directions to assist in order processing activities
