Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory and ensure that flavor ingredients and raw materials are within shelf life.
  • Operate and maintain lab and pilot plant equipment - homogenizer, spray drier, ribbon blender, as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized work environment and follow good manufacturing practices.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

  • Ability to adapt to the changing needs of the lab.
  • Attention to detail and ability to accurately follow batching instructions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software products including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Nice to have

  • 1-2 years of experience as a compounder in a flavor or pharmaceutical lab is preferred.
  • Experience working with food and beverage processing equipment is a plus.
  • Experience working in the food or beverage industry is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Office, and PowerPoint
  • Working Conditions
  • This is a full-time laboratory position.
  • This position requires the handling of food grade chemicals and ingredients for food and beverage with strong odors.
  • Typical office setting for most desk work and paperwork including use of standard office equipment.

Compensation

  • The salary range listed represents the expected earnings for this role.
  • The low end of the range reflects the starting salary for candidates with less experience or qualifications that meet the basic requirements for the position.
  • The high end of the range reflects potential earnings for candidates with extensive experience, specialized skills, or qualifications above the standard requirements for the role.
