- Business Systems Analyst is responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business and technical needs of strategic projects for the Policy admin system (ALIP).
- Projects will involve several business areas with scope of medium to large complexity, ambiguity, urgency, risk, and technical and regulatory sophistication.
Responsibilities
- Serves as the lead for all or majority of the analysis efforts of assigned programs/projects; coordinating the work of other business system analysts as needed.
- Leads/demonstrates techniques to create business and functional requirements (artifacts).
Requirements
- Military experience will be considered in lieu of formal degree.
- 5+ years of progressive responsibility & successful business system analysis experience required
- with 3+ years of experience operating as a Business System Analyst within an Agile framework.
- Proficiency with techniques used in requirements elicitation, project scoping, requirements analysis, project planning, and analysis activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and work experience required. Military experience will be considered in lieu of formal degree.
- 5+ years of progressive responsibility & successful business system analysis experience required; with 3+ years of experience operating as a Business System Analyst within an Agile framework.
- Proficient in business analysis concepts (business process modeling (BPM), context diagrams, use cases, user stories).
Nice to have
- ALIP Application and other related downstream system knowledge preferred.
- Knowledge in Annuity domain is preferred.
