About the role

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.

Assists to develop, integrate and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design.
Performs tests to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
Assists with supplier development, test and production activities and coordination with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals.
Supports investigation of emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.
1+ years' experience in Aircraft Design
1+ years' experience in Computer-Aided Design (CAD)

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
1+ years' experience in Aircraft Structures
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
Final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

The H-47 Chinook Airframes team is seeking an Associate Structural & Payload Design Engr to join our team in Ridley Park PA.
Your work will include the need to interface with other members of H-47 engineering, stress, mechanical systems, electrical systems, production engineering, management, and technical staff to define and implement engineering solutions.

The selected candidate will have a statement of work that spans the product lifecycle: conceptualizing new designs, creating and releasing detailed engineering for both new customer platform variants as well as current in production variants, supporting factory production and suppliers with engineering updates.
