About the role

  • Western Aircraft is looking for diligent and detail-oriented Aircraft Structures Technicians to join our dynamic team!

Responsibilities

  • Understands and follows safety procedures and utilizes support equipment in a safe manner

Requirements

  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to follow directions
  • Must have the ability for climbing and bending at the waist, crawling, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, and working at heights
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

  • Ensures proper care of customer property through all phases of maintenance work
  • Completes duties within allotted hours quoted for assigned tasks
  • Ensures proper and complete documentation of maintenance, repair, and modification all work performed
  • Follows strict dimension tolerances in compliance with FAA, FAR, based on supplied approved data.
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience in aviation regarding Small, Mid to Large cabin aircraft.
  • Minimum three (3) years' performing structural repairs and modifications.
  • Experience working with composite materials a plus
  • Basic knowledge of structural assembly techniques required

Skills

  • Use specialized equipment and tools to measure parts for defects or deviation from specifications
