About the role
- Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network.
- In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week.
- These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.
Responsibilities
- Broadcast & Streaming Writing: Craft clean, conversational scripts and build dynamic graphic elements for daily newscasts and streaming broadcasts on tight deadlines.
- Digital & Social Publishing: Create and adapt news content for mobile, web (Spark CMS), and social platforms to engage our digital audience.
- Field & Crew Coordination: Support field communications, schedule interviews, and organize package shoots as needed.
- You'll collaborate with seasoned journalists, gain control-room experience, and help tell the stories that matter most to the Atlanta community.
Requirements
- Experience with (or quick ability to learn) newsroom systems including iNews, BitCentral, Chyron LUCI/Axis, Spark CMS, and Slack.
- Technical Savvy: Experience with (or quick ability to learn) newsroom systems including iNews, BitCentral, Chyron LUCI/Axis, Spark CMS, and Slack.
Nice to have
- One (1) year of producing or newsgathering experience at a commercial television station is preferred.
- Experience editing video segments for broadcast is a strong plus.
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is preferred.

- Education & Experience
- Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $26.44-28.85 per hour.
