About the role
- This role focuses on assisting concrete crews with site preparation, concrete placement, and finishing activities on heavy civil and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with concrete work including site preparation, form setup, rebar placement, pouring, and finishing support
- Support crews with placing, spreading, leveling, and curing concrete
- Operate hand and power tools to support forming, pouring, and finishing activities
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, especially around active pour operations
- Drive continuous improvement and support efficient, high-quality concrete operations
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds and working in all weather conditions
Nice to have
- Experience in construction required
- concrete or heavy civil experience preferred
- Basic understanding of concrete processes (forming, pouring, finishing, curing) preferred
