Responsibilities

- Develops new hardware and software security features and updates existing products; ensures the security of all products is maintained throughout the product lifecycle.
- Serves as a technical expert performing advanced security assessments and evaluations of company products, including vulnerability and risk assessments and threat analysis, to identify potential design and implementation vulnerabilities.
- Develops highly critical security architectures and solutions for products and subsystems and leads cross-organizational teams to adopt and implement them.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Security Engineering or related work experience.
- OR Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Security Engineering or related work experience.
- OR PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Security Engineering or related work experience.
Nice to have
- Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of Security Engineering experience or related work experience.
- 5+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, System Verilog, etc.
- Level of Responsibility: Makes significant decisions that affect work beyond the immediate team.
- Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information
- may require negotiation, influence, tact, etc.
- Influences product architecture and features.
- extensive planning, problem-solving, and prioritization are required to complete tasks effectively.
