About the role

  • You will shape how the market understands us, ensure our positioning is clear and differentiated, and translate our product innovation into a compelling, credible, and trusted narrative.

Responsibilities

  • Clarify and own our category narrative and value proposition for enterprise legal buyers
  • Drive measurable growth in share of voice, brand visibility, and brand authority across priority channels
  • Partner with Product and Executive Leadership to translate product innovation into differentiated, market-shaping messaging
  • Lead brand research, voice-of-customer insights, and competitive analysis to identify whitespace and narrative opportunities
  • Own the company's core messaging framework, brand voice, and tone
  • Build a strong executive platform that increases credibility, visibility, and industry influence
  • Work with our Creative Director to design and scale visual identity systems that reflect enterprise credibility and modern AI innovation
  • Create bold, high-impact brand moments (launches, reports, events, campaigns) that increase brand "fame" in the market

Requirements

  • 8-12+ years of experience in brand marketing, ideally within B2B SaaS
  • Proven ability to define and evolve brand positioning in a competitive category
  • Strong storytelling instincts with the ability to simplify complex technology
  • Our use of AI is intended to streamline routine tasks, improve consistency, and enhance the overall candidate experience.
  • Experience marketing to enterprise audiences; familiarity with legal-tech or regulated industries is a plus
  • Strategic thinker who is also execution-oriented
  • Data-informed approach to brand building

Compensation

  • Spellbook uses industry benchmark data to establish compensation bands for all roles.
  • The salary range listed for a position reflects the expected total wage range for the role-including base salary and on-target commissions, where applicable-and may span multiple career levels.
  • Final compensation is determined during the interview process based on factors such as experience, skills, scope, and role level.
  • In addition to base salary and applicable commissions, total rewards may include equity, health and wellness benefits, and other company programs.
