- This role will be responsible for sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and logistics across a complex, regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, including negotiating pricing, lead times, and terms
- Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost) and drive continuous improvement
- Own the end-to-end procurement process (RFQs, POs, contract negotiations)
- Collaborate with engineering and production to forecast demand and manage inventory levels
- Maintain proper documentation and traceability for defense-related components
- Optimize shipping strategies to balance cost, speed, and security
- Implement systems and processes to scale operations
- Partner with engineering on BOM optimization and design-for-supply-chain
- Support manufacturing with production readiness and material availability

Requirements
- Strong understanding of defense regulations (ITAR/EAR/DFARS) <span class="EOP SCXW151583737 BCX0" data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335551550":0,"3355516
Nice to have
- 8+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations (defense, aerospace, or hardware startup preferred)
