Responsibilities

  • A System Modeling & Simulation Engineer 1 designs, develops, validates, and maintains dynamic simulations and infrastructure for rapid assessment, integration, and test of complex systems.
  • Simulation applications range from high-level behavioral simulations for visualization and evaluation of system concepts to high-fidelity real-time simulations and Hardware-in-the-Loop infrastructure to support development, integration, test, and sustainment of systems and software.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to gather necessary data and communicate intermediate and final results.

Requirements

  • Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.

Nice to have

  • Experience with analytical methods, approaches, and data visualization.
  • Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of software development, simulation, dynamics, control theory, and hardware interfaces is required.
  • Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink or other simulation tools and C/C++ software development in Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
  • Master's degree preferred.
