Responsibilities
- A System Modeling & Simulation Engineer 1 designs, develops, validates, and maintains dynamic simulations and infrastructure for rapid assessment, integration, and test of complex systems.
- Simulation applications range from high-level behavioral simulations for visualization and evaluation of system concepts to high-fidelity real-time simulations and Hardware-in-the-Loop infrastructure to support development, integration, test, and sustainment of systems and software.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to gather necessary data and communicate intermediate and final results.
Requirements
- Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
Nice to have
- Experience with analytical methods, approaches, and data visualization.
- Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Understanding of software development, simulation, dynamics, control theory, and hardware interfaces is required.
- Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink or other simulation tools and C/C++ software development in Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
- Master's degree preferred.
