Responsibilities
- HP IQ's Product Design Engineering team is responsible for ideating, designing, engineering, and creating the next generation of connected, AI-powered products driving the future of intelligent devices.
- Design and develop cutting-edge intelligent devices
- Drive product development with our manufacturing partners
- Build prototypes, test them to failure, and iterate quickly
- Help define and drive the product roadmap and timelines
- 5+ years mechanical design experience

Requirements
- some travel abroad may be required
Nice to have
- Strong knowledge of various materials and scalable manufacturing processes
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, MS a plus
- Passion for working on highly creative, fast-paced, and collaborative teams alongside industrial designers, hardware engineers, and UX designers
- Comfortable designing slides and making presentations to the leadership team
- Familiarity with multiple product and project development disciplines, their dependencies, and how they interact
- Desire to work in a collaborative environment where honesty and accountability are paramount

Compensation
- $132,000- $230,000
- Compensation & Benefits (Full-Time Employees)
- The salary range for this role is listed above.
- Final salary offered is based upon multiple factors including individual job-related qualifications, education, experience, knowledge and skills.
