About the role

Responsibilities

  • And last, as a Resident Assistant/ Medication Manage r in our Assisted Living facility, enjoy working in a family-like atmosphere with energetic staff and residents, all of this in our newly renovated facility.
  • Provide care to residents under the supervision of the nurse and the support of your team
  • Provide physical support for residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, - using the toilet, walking, standing, or exercising.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age to obtain a Medication Manager
  • Must be willing to obtain Medication Manager (We will enroll you upon hire if you haven't already taken the course)
  • (Not required) Current active license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Iowa.
  • Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the public.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, as required

Nice to have

  • Prior direct care experience is preferred, but not required.
