About the role
- ASSYST is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to analyze business processes, define system requirements, and support technology implementation for a client, with an initial focus on replacing a Jail Management System. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, technical teams, and vendors to validate requirements,
- evaluate solutions, support system integration, and ensure successful implementation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, project managers, developers, and vendors on solution design and implementation.
- Support system implementation, integration, troubleshooting, and post-production operations.
- Maintain effective working relationships and ensure the confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information.
- Gather, analyze, validate, and document functional and non-functional system requirements.
- Document requirements for system enhancements, change requests, and break/fix activities.
- Develop and maintain business requirements, test plans, technical documentation, and system performance metrics.

Requirements
- Should have 12+ years of experience in systems analysis, change management analysis, project management, program analysis, or a related field.
- Develop system design documents, functional specifications, and prototypes as required.
Nice to have
- Experience working with a government entity.
- Five or more years of experience with Public Safety projects.
