Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reporting on coordination KPIs, including scheduling speed, interview volume and SLA adherence.
- Build and own coordination playbooks and process documentation, and keep them current as we scale.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and building without a fully defined playbook
- Using an incremental, hardware-rich and low-cost approach, Vast is rapidly developing its multi-module Haven Station.
- Haven Demo's 2025 success made Vast the only operational commercial space station company to fly and operate its own spacecraft.
- Vast is looking for a Lead Recruiting Coordinator, reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Operations, to set the standard for how we coordinate.
- The Lead Recruiting Coordinator will hold themselves at a high bar ensuring attention to detail and confidentiality while protecting the candidate experience, and build scalable, sustainable processes that position us to execute efficiently as the organization grows.
Requirements
- 5+ years in recruiting coordination or a comparable role, including time supporting senior or executive-level scheduling.
- Experience standing up or significantly overhauling recruiting processes or systems from the ground up, not only maintaining existing ones
Nice to have
- Experience with workflow automation, systems integrations, or recruiting tool implementations
- Experience operating in a high-growth environment
- Strong ownership mindset with a focus on outcomes, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Hands-on experience with an applicant tracking system, with Greenhouse preferred.
Compensation
- $82,000 - $116,400 USD
- Base salary will vary depending on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, business needs, and market demand.
