About the role

  • Supervise the delivery of high-quality residential and shared living services to the individuals receiving care by delivering training and performing quality compliance standard checks for Community Strategies in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a variety of training programs and provide ongoing support to staff and managers across Community Strategies of Massachusetts.
  • Support the professional development of staff and managers through mentorship, coaching, and skill development.
  • Apply and promote the core principles of Positive Behavioral Supports (PBS) by assisting staff and managers in effectively implementing PBS strategies within residential environments.
  • Ensure new employees receive training upon hire and maintain an appropriate recertification schedule.
  • Provide Data Collection and Documentation training to staff, ensuring employees understand proper documentation procedures upon hire and offering additional support and training to programs requiring further assistance.
  • Through delivering innovative programming and collaborating with community agencies, we provide hope and support to our clients as they make safe and successful transitions into their communities.
  • The CJI team brings decades of experience developing evidence-based, data-driven policies, managing complex processes with diverse stakeholders, and driving systems-level organizational change.
  • We offer a holistic approach by working to connect clients to basic needs and offering support to create change and increase stronger coping and life skills.

Requirements

  • Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Experience in residential treatment and/or community-based group homes
  • Experience using Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Functional knowledge of a range of clinical systems and interventions
  • Experience working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities
  • Knowledge of the treatment of clients with borderline personality disorder, sex abuse and other forensic issues
  • Excellent writing skills, including the ability to write detailed and extensive reports
  • Deliver CPR and First Aid training to employees across Community Strategies in Massachusetts, ensuring staff receive certification upon hire and recertification as required.
