Requirements
- Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- OSHA 10 certification & knowledge of safety procedures and practices related to construction sites.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to and on the construction sites.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in computer aided project administration is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.

- What you'll be able to do: Prudent Engineering is seeking a Construction Inspector, NICET III with bridge or highway experience for position in Buffalo and surrounding areas, to start in April/May of 2026.
- The Construction inspector, NICET III is responsible for overseeing and inspecting construction projects at various stages to ensure compliance with project plans, project specifications and regulations.
- The minimum requirements we seek: NICET III certification or equivalent experience.
- Prior New York State DOT and/or New York State Thruway inspection experience or similar experience working on bridge or Highway construction projects.
