About the role
- The Exchange Planner is responsible for the planning and administration associated with the OEM Machine Shop and Welding areas.
- include review of salvage velocity, salvage queue management, and inventory management for salvage consumables.
Responsibilities
- Review RFA requirements daily to support production assembly plans
- Meet lead time requirements for salvage-only work orders, communicating thorough and effective progress updates to the Network Salvage Planner
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work in a multi-functional team
- Excellent organizational skills including the ability to work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality
- Experience in parts planning and/or supply chain management
- They are accountable for supporting Internal Fab WO Opening, salvage scheduling, customer required dates, and work instructions.
- Previous OEM experience is an asset
- CAT product knowledge considered an asset
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a demanding and customer focused work environment
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
- Proven ability to be aware and flexible through assessment of situations
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Minimum 2 years related experience or an acceptable combination of education and work experience
- Bachelor of Commerce or other relevant post-secondary education considered an asset
