About the role
- The EIP is legally mandated under Title II-A, 2552 of Article 25 of the NYS PHL to ensure that eligible children receive therapeutic services as soon as possible, and it has been recognized as an essential service during COVID-19 by NYS.

Responsibilities
- Create and deliver professional development materials and trainings
- Create and deliver professional development materials and trainings; review and summarize research and literature
- Create, edit, and review content for reports, presentations, text messages and related materials and participate in or facilitate meetings with internal and external partners
- Develop and write scopes for consultant and academic contracts, and manage procurement process in collaboration with EI Administration
Requirements
- However, all candidates must have at least a master's degree in an appropriate field of specialization and at least two years of experience described in "2" above.
- Two years as a City Research Scientist Level I can be substituted for the experience required in "1" and "2" above.
Skills
- Supervisory experience
- Knowledge of typical and a typical early childhood development, ages birth to three years
- Outstanding verbal communication skills and excellent written communication skills
- Knowledge and utilization of adult learning principles
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to meet both short and long-term deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and facilitate, coordinate, and participate in teamwork
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative data analysis
