About the role
- Risk Services of Louisiana, a Leavitt Group affiliate, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their team.
- The agency is appointed with the top insurance markets and enjoys exclusive representation with multiple insurance companies.
Responsibilities
- Manage and retain an assigned book of business, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional service.
- Issue insurance documents, reconcile accounts, collect premiums, and assist clients with service needs and escalations.
- Maintain accurate client information in AMS360 and follow commercial lines procedures using available reference tools.
- Participate in renewal strategy discussions and collaborate with Marketing and carriers.
- Mentor and support new team members as needed and contribute to a positive team culture.
- We broker commercial and personal lines insurance which manages the risk for individuals and businesses.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience as a Commercial Account Manager or Producer.
- Active Property & Casualty license.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in interpreting insurance documents.
- Proficiency with basic office software and comfort learning agency systems.
Nice to have
- Industry designations (CIC, CRM, CPCU, etc.) preferred-or willingness to pursue one within 5 years.
