About the role
- This position pays between $18.15 - $19.40/hr based on experience
- This position handles the accurate verification and calculation of patient liabilities including previous balances, collection of patient payments, and may require nights, weekends, and holidays, as necessary.
- The Financial Counseling Specialist will work within the policies and processes as they are being performed across the entire organization.
Responsibilities
- Assists in facilitating daily inhouse call reviews to include all needed parties to validate that patients have a valid payor source with authorization on the account for the current stay.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- CRCR (Certified Revenue Cycle Representative) Required within 6 months of hire (Company Paid)
