Spark Power, a trusted partner in energy in North America, is looking for a Senior Protection & Control Electrical Technologist to join our Alberta team.
The primary role of a Protection & Control Technologist is to perform programming, testing and verification of protection & control devices in the field.
The role is responsible for testing, commission or maintain power distribution equipment.
Perform field testing, verification, and programming of various IEDs from manufacturers such as SEL, GE Multilin, GEC Alstom, Siemens, Square D and ABB.
Maintain or Commission Power distribution equipment including Power Transformers, Circuit Breakers, HV Switches and Instrument Transformers.

Here's what we're looking for: Experience - 3 to 5 years of experience in P&C Education - 2-year Electrical Engineering Technology diploma (I.e. from NAIT or SAIT) or Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Degree.
