Responsibilities
- The Senior Consultant, Application Development is responsible for leading the data technical design, development, and integration of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
- You will drive enhancements to existing technologies and work on complex issues involving one or more technical areas, mentoring employees and performing tasks of advanced technical depth and breadth.
- Your responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining ETL pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and integration across diverse platforms, as well as ensuring robust data governance and security practices to maintain data quality and compliance.
- You will provide consultation to senior management on a wide spectrum of existing and emerging infrastructure technologies, translating user requirements into process and data requirements, and developing solutions with far-reaching business impact.
- As a technical leader, you will develop precise steps and processing logic across all platforms, ensuring that specifications achieve business needs.
- Additionally, you will develop project plans based on appropriate standards and methodology and make technology selection decisions, even in situations where business requirements are not fully defined.
- Strategic Development & Execution: Perform and coordinate complex solution design activities.
- Understand the business requirements and translate them into system and application design that is aligned with our technology roadmap.
- Design and document the technical functionality, infrastructure, interfaces and integrations.
- Lead the design of cost-effective and innovative solutions to meet both business objectives and the goal of operational efficiency.
Requirements
- You have hands-on experience with: DataBricks, Lakebase, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, including managing, optimizing, and scaling these platforms for enterprise data solutions.
- You are passionate about being on top of technology trends.
- You can easily adapt to new tools and trends.
- You have a degree/diploma: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Technical discipline.
