- It oversees the development, delivery, and sustainment of this fifth-generation joint strike fighter for the U.S. Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and international partners.
- The JPO also collaborates with various partners to drive innovation and cost efficiency in enhancing the F-35's capabilities.
- Support development of the strategy for supply chain requirements, oversee quality deficiency reporting and provide metrics and performance reporting.
