About the role

  • The Rocketship Social Worker will do whatever it takes to improve student achievement and ensure that students are progressing on their individual goals.
  • Social Workers at Rocketship help families navigate and overcome obstacles so that their Rocketeers are on the path to college.
  • Rocketship Social Workers are responsible for delivering effective, high-quality, interventions that are data driven.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver crisis response and intervention services to students, families and staff, when needed
  • Monitor and develop school-wide plans to address student attendance

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of therapy models
  • At least two years of Social Work experience (Preferred)
  • Master's Degree in Social Work (Required)
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (Preferred)
  • Commitment to working with underserved students (Required)
