About the role

  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and performance opportunities, translating findings into clear business insights and recommendations
  • Write complex SQL queries and leverage Python to extract, transform, and analyze data, enabling deeper business understanding
  • Translate analytical findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for leadership and cross‑functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders and subject‑matter experts to define problems, shape analytical approaches, and influence strategic decisions
  • Design, develop, and optimize analytical datasets and data models in Snowflake to support scalable reporting and insight generation
  • Build and maintain dashboards that not only report metrics but highlight key insights, risks, and opportunities

Requirements

  • Technical & Analytical Expertise:
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, analytics use cases)
  • Python experience for data analysis, automation, and modeling
  • Experience with Hex or similar analytics platforms
  • Experience with Snowflake Cortex Code (CoCo), Cursor or other code generating AI tools
  • ability to meet deadlines

Skills

  • Proven ability to work with large, complex datasets and translate findings into business insights
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to connect data to real‑world business impact
  • Demonstrated experience providing recommendations that influence outcomes
  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related quantitative field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or business analysis-focused roles
  • Experience supporting operational or business teams with data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Insurance or managed care experience is a plus
