About the role
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and performance opportunities, translating findings into clear business insights and recommendations
- Write complex SQL queries and leverage Python to extract, transform, and analyze data, enabling deeper business understanding
- Translate analytical findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for leadership and cross‑functional teams
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders and subject‑matter experts to define problems, shape analytical approaches, and influence strategic decisions
- Design, develop, and optimize analytical datasets and data models in Snowflake to support scalable reporting and insight generation
- Build and maintain dashboards that not only report metrics but highlight key insights, risks, and opportunities

Requirements
- Technical & Analytical Expertise:
- Strong hands‑on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, analytics use cases)
- Python experience for data analysis, automation, and modeling
- Experience with Hex or similar analytics platforms
- Experience with Snowflake Cortex Code (CoCo), Cursor or other code generating AI tools
- ability to meet deadlines

Skills
- Proven ability to work with large, complex datasets and translate findings into business insights
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to connect data to real‑world business impact
- Demonstrated experience providing recommendations that influence outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or business analysis-focused roles
- Experience supporting operational or business teams with data-driven insights and recommendations
- Insurance or managed care experience is a plus
