Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Preferably 3-5 years of hands-on experience working as a PACS Administrator or in a similar imaging informatics role, preferably in a hospital or cancer center environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a clinical setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Health Information Management, Radiology Technology, or a related field. However, equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong working knowledge of PACS systems (experience with GE, Siemens, Philips, Sectra, or Change Healthcare is a plus).
  • Solid understanding of DICOM, HL7, and IHE standards, as well as RIS and EHR integration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills - you'll be working closely with both technical and clinical teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects while maintaining attention to detail.

Nice to have

  • CIIP (Certified Imaging Informatics Professional)
  • PARCA CPAS or equivalent
  • Any vendor-specific PACS certifications
  • Experience supporting high-volume radiology workflows and familiarity with oncology imaging protocols is highly preferred.
