About the role

They oversee key tasks managed by Staff Accountants and ensure that client deliverables-such as monthly financial statements and grant reports-are accurate and delivered on time.

Manage the close process, including complex journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.

Serve as a key point of contact for one or more clients, handling moderate to complex inquiries, budgeting updates, and operational issues.
Prepare or review monthly and quarterly financial statements, interpret data, and present findings to clients or managers.
Recommend workflow enhancements or internal controls to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
Coach Staff Accountants on technical issues, best practices, and professional development.
What You Bring Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or related field.
CPA license or progress toward CPA (or similar certification) is a plus.
2-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
Prior experience with month-end closings, financial reporting, and using data to identify trends, investigate variances, and advise on solutions.

If relevant, oversee grant accounting, voucher submissions, and annual or periodic reports to funding agencies.
The salary offered will be determined by several factors that may include but are not limited to relevant experience, certifications, and skillset.
